Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions have two parts.
First general for the Online Shop Masters of Glass s.r.o. and second for Machines.

First Part - General Terms and Conditions – Masters of Glass s.r.o.
1. General Provisions
i. These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the mutual rights and
obligations of Masters of Glass s.r.o. (“Seller”) and the customer (“Buyer”) arising
from the purchase contracts concluded through the Seller’s online shop
www.mastersofglass.com or based on individual orders for custom-made products
or refurbished machines.
ii. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree
to these Terms.
iii. Any deviations or modifications must be confirmed in writing by the Seller. The
Terms and the Purchase Contract are concluded in the English language.
2. Products and Orders
i. The Seller offers both standard goods available through the online shop (tools,
accessories, materials) and custom-made or refurbished machines manufactured
or restored according to the Buyer’s specifications.
ii. Product descriptions, images, and technical details are for information purposes
only. The Seller reserves the right to make technical or design improvements
without prior notice.
iii. Orders are placed through the Website or by written quotation confirmation. A
purchase contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order via email.
iv. For custom-made products, the order becomes binding once the Seller receives the
initial deposit payment.
3. Prices and Payment
i. Shipping fees stated in quotations or on the online store are only rough on-the-spot
estimates. The final amount will be confirmed before shipment, as it may vary
depending on carrier rates, insurance, and packaging requirements.
ii. All prices are stated in EUR or CZK and include VAT unless otherwise specified.
iii. The Seller reserves the right to adjust prices before order confirmation due to
material costs or exchange rate changes exceeding 5%.
iv. Payment methods include credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other methods
available in the checkout system.
v. For custom-made or refurbished machines, payment terms are as follows: 70%
deposit before production starts, and the remaining balance before shipment.
vi. For tools, accessories, and materials, payment terms are as follows: 100% deposit
before production starts.
vii. Ownership of the goods passes to the Buyer only after full payment has been
received.
4. Production, Delivery, and Transfer of Risk
i. Production and delivery times vary depending on design complexity, stock
availability, and workload. Estimated timelines are communicated individually.
ii. Delivery is made to the Buyer’s address via courier or postal service. The Seller is
not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs processes.
iii. The risk of loss or damage passes to the Buyer once the goods are handed over to
the carrier.
iv. Outside the EU, the Buyer is responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and any
related charges.
5. Warranty and Liability
i. The Seller guarantees that products are free from manufacturing defects upon
delivery.
ii. Warranty periods:
- Custom-made machines: 12 months
- Refurbished machines: 12 months
- Gas burners and pedals: 6 months
- Raw glass material: 6 months
- Standard tools and materials: 24 months (consumer goods)
iii. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, improper installation,
improper storage, unauthorized modifications, or transport damage after dispatch.
iv. In the event of a defect, the Buyer must notify the Seller in writing with a
description and photo documentation. The Seller will decide on repair,
replacement, discount, or refund within a reasonable time.
v. The Seller’s total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
i. In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, a consumer (a natural person not acting
in the course of business) has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14
days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
ii. This right does not apply to goods made to the Buyer’s specifications, clearly
personalized products, or goods that cannot be returned for hygienic or functional
reasons.
iii. To withdraw, the Buyer must notify the Seller in writing via email or postal letter
within the 14-day period.
iv. The Seller will refund payments within 30 days of receiving the withdrawal
products, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
v. The Buyer bears the cost of returning the goods and is responsible for any loss of
value resulting from improper handling.
7. Returns, Refunds, and Shipping Fees
i. For custom-made or refurbished machines, cancellation or return is not possible
once production has begun or shipment has been dispatched.
ii. Returned goods must be unused, in original packaging, and sent at the Buyer’s
expense after written approval by the Seller.
iii. Refunds are processed after inspection of returned goods and may be subject to a
restocking fee.
iv. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, even if goods are returned or
replaced.
8. Intellectual Property
i. All designs, technical drawings, text, and images on the Website and in the Seller’s
materials are the intellectual property of Masters of Glass s.r.o.
ii. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent from
the Seller.
9. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
i. The Seller processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679
(GDPR).
ii. Personal data is collected and processed solely for the purpose of order fulfillment,
communication, and legal obligations.
iii. The Buyer has the right to access, rectify, delete, or restrict processing of their
data, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
iv. Detailed information is available in the Privacy Policy on the Seller’s website.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
i. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and applicable EU
regulations.
ii. Any disputes shall be resolved amicably. If no agreement is reached, disputes will
be submitted to the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
iii. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
11. Final Provisions
i. The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version in
effect at the time of purchase applies.
ii. If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid, the remaining provisions remain
in full force and effect.
iii. By placing an order, the Buyer acknowledges and accepts these General Terms and
Conditions.
Second Part - Sales Terms and Conditions for Machines
1. Scope of Application
i. These Sales Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the sale of refurbished
machines and custom-made machines (“Products”) supplied by Masters of Glass
s.r.o. (“Seller”) to customers (“Buyer”).
ii. By placing an order or accepting a quotation, the Buyer confirms acceptance of
these Terms.
iii. Any deviations, modifications, or additional agreements must be confirmed in
writing by the Seller.
2. Product Specification
i. Refurbished machines are pre-owned products that have been restored, inspected,
and tested to ensure proper functionality.
ii. Custom-made machines are manufactured according to the Buyer’s individual
requirements and technical specifications.
iii. Product descriptions, images, and parameters provided by the Seller are for
reference only and may vary slightly depending on production or refurbishment
details.
3. Prices and Payment
i. All prices are in EUR (or CZK, depending on region) and exclude VAT unless
otherwise stated.
ii. Currency Conversion: The exchange rate between EUR and CZK is fixed in the
invoice. Prices may be adjusted if the rate fluctuates by more than 5%.
iii. Estimated shipping and insurance costs are provided as an initial estimate in the
quotation and are subject to change. The Seller will confirm the final shipping costs
before dispatch.
iv. The total purchase price, excluding delivery costs, shall be agreed upon before
order confirmation.
v. Payment must be made in full before shipment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
vi. Payment Terms:
- 70% deposit – due before production start
- Remaining balance – due before shipment
vii. Ownership of the Product transfers to the Buyer only after full payment has been
received.
4. Delivery and Transfer of Risk
i. Delivery is made to the address specified by the Buyer.
ii. The risk of loss or damage passes to the Buyer upon dispatch of the Product to the
carrier.
iii. The Seller is not responsible for delays or damages caused during transport or by
third-party carriers.
iv. The Buyer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and related charges
outside the EU.
5. Warranty and Liability
i. Gas burners and saving pedals are sold with a limited warranty of 6 months from
the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated.
ii. Refurbished machines are sold with a limited warranty of 12 months from the date
of delivery, unless otherwise stated.
iii. Custom-made machines are covered by a 12-month warranty against
manufacturing defects.
iv. The warranty does not cover:
a. Normal wear and tear
b. Improper use or installation
c. Unauthorized repairs or modifications
d. Damage during transport after dispatch
v. The Seller’s total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the Product.
6. Returns and Refunds
i. For custom-made machines, no cancellation or return is possible once production
has begun.
ii. For refurbished machines, returns may be accepted only with prior written
approval from the Seller.
iii. Returned Products must be unused, in original packaging, and sent back at the
Buyer’s expense.
iv. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, even if the Product is returned or
replaced.
v. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after inspection of the returned Product.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
i. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and applicable EU
regulations.
ii. The parties shall make every effort to resolve disputes amicably.
iii. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of
the Czech Republic.
iv. Consumers within the EU may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution
platform (ODR) at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
8. Final Provisions
i. The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version valid at
the time of purchase shall apply.
ii. If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid, the remaining provisions shall
remain in full force and effect.
iii. By placing an order or signing an offer, the Buyer acknowledges and accepts these
Terms and Conditions.
